Thanksgiving Day 2007
We had Thanksgiving dinner at my brother Rob's house with Rob & Liza and their five girls, my parents, my brother Kyle, and my Grandma Pat. Above are pictures of Holly, Mary, and Kitty, three of Rob & Liza's five girls. We went over to Shane's parents' house for pie and to hang out later on. Carter is shown with his Uncle Tyler (Shane's little brother) and hugging Wyatt (Shane's sister Mindy's little guy who's just three months older than Carter). Wyatt and Carter hugged at first on their own -- they just walked up to each other and leaned their heads onto each other's shoulders and sat like that for a minute! I about died it was so sweet and the camera was not within reach! So the picture is cute, but the first hug they did on their own was much sweeter.

Anti-scratch outfit
We recently noticed that Carter began scratching the living daylights out of his own poor skin, to the point of bleeding. When we took him to the doctor for a possible reaction to the chicken pox vaccine, we discovered that Carter has eczema. Well, despite the creams and lotions we've been caking him in, some creativity has been required to keep him from getting to his skin, particularly at night when he has his skin to himself in his crib. This lovely nighttime outfit fashioned by Shane consists of a pajama shirt topped by a onesie, pajama pants on over the onesie, and those pants tucked into socks. Nice.
