Here are some pictures of us on Halloween this year. We had a lot of fun dressing up Carter in his monkey suit!
"We wait for things which, at the time, may appear so right, and so good to us, that we can't possibly imagine why Heavenly Father would delay the answer."
Waiting is one of the most difficult parts of the adoption process. Some great counsel on waiting, and learning patience in the process, is available in this talk by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf.

Oh my gosh! Probably the cutest monkey I have ever seen! He is a cute kid, guys! I am so happy for you! You look so happy and I'm sure you are awesome parents!

Your baby is adorable! Now what was Shane dressed as...that one is really intriguing me :) I miss you guys, wish we could come and visit!

Shane was Napoleon Dynamite again, just like last year...his shirt said "My lips hurt real bad!"
PS-Shelly, I LOVED Jack's Yoda costume! It was one of my top picks before we got Carter, but the monkey was a free hand-me-down that we couldn't pass up!
PPS-Aubrey, You were right, Hailey was an EXTREMELY cute lady bug! I never get over her eye lashes!
Megan: Just caught up on your blog. Carter is soooo cute! Love the Halloween outfit. Your love for him really shows through in this blog. He's truly a blessing to you both. Thanks for sharing your heart with us.
