Game night

After Carter went to bed tonight we played board games... cheesy ones like Life and Operation! We haven't done that in a long time.

We need some cool games that weren't made for children. Jacob (Shane's brother) gave us the game Last Word for Christmas and it's a lot of fun, especially since it's a grown-up game. ;-) We highly recommend it. What are your favorite games to play in small groups or as a couple?

We have a game night with Ryan's sister's family and some of their friends twice a month. Some of my favorite games have come from that game night. Cranium Pop 5 is AWESOME, but you need at least 4 people to play. Werewolf of Miners Hollow is WAY FUN (just like Mafia, but with more characters), again, you need quite a few people to play that one, at least 8. We also love Settlers, but not regular Settlers, we like the Cities and Knights expansion. Another favorite is Ticket to Ride. Also, every Thursday night I have a game night with the girls from my neighborhood and we play a card game called Pounce! Its like Nerts, but with Rook cards. Its very fun. We've even started playing Werewolf at the end of the night.

LOL, hope you get enough suggestions to get some grown-up games, Meg!
