We are grateful for all the wonderful support we received from those nearby. The donations were awesome! We were beyond exhausted after all the prep and lack of sleep, but our adoption yard sale/fundraiser was an absolute success! We were blessed to make enough money to help pay for some of the online profiles and advertising we have been doing to expand our reach, and to pay for our 500 new pass-along cards. Special thanks to Joe and Claudia for allowing us to use their home and their assistance. We borrowed their truck, Joe and Brad helped lift the heavy stuff, Claudia took care of Carter, and they all helped set-up and take down!
We set up a table to sell muffins and water bottles, and also had DVDs, pamphlets, and pass-along cards about adoption set out. Unfortunately, I don't think a single person (that I saw) picked up anything but a muffin and a plate or napkin from the top of that table. That was the one disappointing part.

That's one good looking garage sale! If I were there I would've found at least three things to buy...maybe even four :) Hope it was as successful as you hoped it would've been!
