This is Brad, Shane's cousin. He and his parents also happen to be our neighbors. Around here, he is known as "Uncle Brad" to Carter and Ruby. I never had a little brother, but I sometimes like to pretend Brad is my brother (and that his four sisters are my other sisters). We have a lot of fun and they all are so wonderful to us. Brad and Carter are buddies and Brad taught Carter all kinds of neat pool tricks while we were gone in Michigan to pick up Ruby. Brad's mom, Claudia, potty trained Carter and Brad helped Carter learn to swim. We came back to a toilet-trained fish!
Anyway, I love this picture because it is the first of Brad and Ruby (taken 8/23). Brad is a wonderful uncle to his two for real nephews as well as to Carter, and now I am excited for Ruby to get to know him this last year before he leaves home. So this is a shout out to our Bradley. He can be found performing in the upcoming production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert (Oct. 15-Nov. 28th). I can't wait. It's going to be amazing!

Megan, Happy Birthday again. And oh my goodness!! Little Ruby is beautiful!! Perfect!!! I went visiting teaching to your mom last week and she didn't have a photo to show us yet...I'm glad I found your cute blog and can catch up!
