Carter was never hooked on the pacifier. He didn't mind it every once in a while as a tiny newborn, but he was ready to move on from it pretty quickly. However, last week, I was bagging up some newborn things to pack away until the next baby comes along, and Carter saw the colorful binkies in the bags I was putting away. He freaked and started trying to get them out of the bag. He wanted two or more at a time -- as many as he could get his hands on. I think he's noticed some kids just do it that way...well, at least one kid we know -- a certain cousin of course (Oh, and by the way, Kim -- he even started calling them B's or "Beese" like L). So this week, he's liked them. Weird. He's 17 months old! Why start now? Well, it's not like it's a new addiction or anything, he just likes to pick them up once or twice a day to chaw on for a minute. Whatever floats your boat kid!
