A rare rainy day in our neck of the woods

Here in the Valley of the Sun, it's rare that we get cloudy skies. Today was an exception. We woke up to gray skies and decided we'd get a little extra bundled for a walk to the park.
We live just far enough away from the airport that we don't have to hear the planes take off or land, but if we go outside, you can pretty much see planes int he sky at any time of the day or night. Carter loves to spot them and watch them as long as he can before they disappear. Here he has spotted one overhead.
Nice picture, Shane. That's all I have to say about that!
Splashing in this puddle was the highlight of Carter's day. He stayed there and just stomped around in it, walked through it back and forth, etc. etc. for about half an hour until we finally had to head home with him protesting loudly!
