It got really quiet all of the sudden this morning and I realized Carter had disappeared from the living room. I went down the hall to find him in his room. He had dumped out several baskets full of toys and he was happily rediscovered some favorites he hadn't seen for a while. I kept checking in with him every few minutes and he contentedly played for a long time in there with his toys. I love that! My favorite is hearing him "call" people on one of his many play cell phones (how did he get to have so many?). He loves to especially call Dada and Nana (Claudia). He also sometimes calls other people, but usually they are his two favorite -- I am pretty sure that's because he knows they both let him get away with more than I do so he's calling them to be rescued!
