Happy Mother's Day 2008

We had a really nice Mother's Day together as a family. We started the day off going to church after I had eaten the yummy pancake breakfast Shane prepared for me. Carter colored me a lovely picture of flowers in nursery (nevermind that he tore it in half later on when he got uspet about something). While CJ napped, Shane let me take a nap on the couch too. And while I slept, he cleaned my room. :) We had dinner and dessert at Joe and Claudia's prepared mostly by Brittney. It was delicious. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it!

I am so thankful for this sweet, funny, loving, little boy who made me officially a mother! I love to think about Mother's Day two years ago when Carter's birth family announced to us that we'd been chosen to be his parents. We hope and pray that soon we will receive the good news that our next little one is on his or her way to join our family! Carter is going to be a great big brother!
