Family Farm Fun

We made our third annual trip to a local family farm for their pumpkin and chili party event. I guess we can call it annual now since we've officially gone three years in a row! The first year we lived here we went alone with newborn Carter in tow. Last year, we took our friends Ben and Sherrie with us, and we decided to all go together again this year. Anyway, it's a lot of fun, and although it was still in the 90's temperature wise, it helped us feel a little closer to a place where the seasons change. ;) We enjoyed pumpkins, yummy food (especially caramel apple walnut pie from the bakery), live music, rides and games, pig races, the petting zoo, and more. The one thing we missed this year was the corn maze, but we figured Carter would have been a bit difficult to enjoy it with! Happy Fall!

That looks like so much fun! We haven't made it to the pumpkin patch yet, but it's on our list. We are gonna have to bundle up though because it's already getting COLD here. ;)

this looks like so much fun. Carter is getting so so big, I can't believe it. Landon now wants to go to a pumpkin farm and I think I will take him. I love that you guys can have fair rides at the patch. Here in Utah it is way too cold for that!! love ya
