"We wait for things which, at the time, may appear so right, and so good to us, that we can't possibly imagine why Heavenly Father would delay the answer."
Waiting is one of the most difficult parts of the adoption process. Some great counsel on waiting, and learning patience in the process, is available in this talk by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf.
The audio for the talk is available here. (Right click and select "Save Target As" to download the mp3. Put it on your iPod!)

My heart aches for you, my friend. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
I can't imagine the pain you must be going through. I'm so sorry.
That picture is so sweet. You do need to cry. But...keep this picture for when you are choosen again by a different sweet birthmother.
Your time will come. Just try and focus on getting better. Carter needs you to be 100%. I love you and miss you!
If it makes you feel any better your post made me cry too. I am so sorry that you guys are going through this right now and I wish there was something I could do. I hope you guys receive a new addition soon because you guys are amazing and really deserve it. Hang in there!
I'm sorry Megan. That picture was not what you were expecting. You have been through the ringer. You must be so very refined after so much of the refiner's fire.
So I have loved catching up with your blog. You are a doll. I LOVE you!
We are still praying for you! I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. I still love ya!!
You guys have been so patient and are such amazing parents that I know that the baby you will get needs exactly the kind of love and family you have. God saves families like you for the extra-special little ones. Love you!
I'm so sorry. I'm aching for you.
