Here is the moment Carter met "Baby Wooby" for the very first time:
And their second moment together as soon as we got home from the airport:
We've been shocked at how incredibly gentle Carter has been capable of being with Ruby. From the moment we brought her home, he has been nothing but loving toward her (except asking once to give her a timeout when she was screaming) and is already acting out in the protective big brother role, always telling us what we may or may not do with his baby sister!

I have been waiting for these pictures and I love them! So TENDER!! Its so sweet that he is taking his new big brother roll so seriously. :) They will be playing together before you know it.

Awwww! That is so sweet?! Remember how our loved one's mom used to say they were going to flush their baby down the toilet if they were bad? I'd say Carter wanting to give her a time out was much more gentle! That was so cute.
We're thinking of you. It is exciting but we know there are challenges too. Going from one to two was quite the adjustment. But you can do it!

I'm glad he's such a great big brother. You hear horror storiess all the time, so it's nice to hear that it is possible to have a toddler be so nice to a newborn. I love all of the pictures of Ruby! Please keep 'em coming! I am still so unbelievably excited for you guys!!!
