I've been thinking about this quote all week, ever since mrs. r shared it on facebook. It is exactly what I needed right now. I've been trying to focus on how amazing it will feel when we finally are able to add to our little family, just as it was indescribably precious when we finally met CJ. I think I was in pure bliss nonstop for at least the first three to six months CJ was in our home. I just remember smiling and snuggling him all day long every day. Sometimes it's hard to remember those times when faced with the craziness of current daily life with an opinionated, strong-willed, stubborn almost-three-year-old! But when we have those now seemingly rare moments of him snuggling into me and reaching up, lips puckered, to give me a "smoochie" it's a little bit easier to recall.
