Meg has been moved to an area of the hospital where they can monitor her heart more closely. She's in a much bigger room now, which is nice. The highlight of the day was that Cynthia, Megan's friend from freshman year at BYU, happened to be in town with her husband Travis and came to visit Meg in the hospital. We have been thrown for a loop with Megan having cardiac complications and having to stay in the hospital longer than expected. Cyn and Travis' visit was a welcome distraction from the craziness.Friday, January 23, 2009
Surgery Update no. 2
Meg has been moved to an area of the hospital where they can monitor her heart more closely. She's in a much bigger room now, which is nice. Megan, I hope that you're doing okay. Surgery is such a big thing! I'm so glad that you have such a loving family and what a treat that Cyn could stop in to visit. I wish you the best with recovery and adoption! You're in my prayers!
It was SO NICE to get to see you. I only wish we had had more time...maybe like a week! hehe
